Killing Calories

In a BA directed by Juliana Perez, we follow the story of a young Latino girl, her mother, and their relationship through their dynamic with food.

Working as a logistical producer, I was introduced to filmmaking in a different yet holistic way. The power to support a film from the initial stages until the screening definitely provided a lot more experience than I expected.

Lilies Of The Valley(2023)

Spawned by the fear of losing someone close to you suddenly, Lilies of the Valley follows the story of a young adult Izaak who reflects on his mother’s life before her demise through a demystified lens of her as an individual and not just his mother

Working as an Assistant Director on this project was a memorable experience. Working with a talented group of individuals who were all willing to work as a collective group definitely helped my role work efficiently. I assisted with logistics as well as the technical aspects of the production, allowing me to gain experience and to confidently take on the role of a producer for the next following projects

Nest(2023)

A BFA thesis film directed by Ben Kim is about “a surreal exploration of love, loss, & the inability to let go”(Kim). An animated and live-action short film explores the transmedia approach to filmmaking.

As the assistant director, I worked closely with the director to plan and help with the technical aspects of the film. Although we faced covid exposure on set, the quick thinking of the director made it possible to create the film using transmedia.
